Customised development: Penstock Pipe
10/04/2020
A customised version of Persalys has been developed, dedicated to study the penstock pipe for EDF. The goal was to provide an ergonomic interface in order to configure the mathematical model. Many options of this model must be defined (existence of a flaw or not, thickness, ...). It could have been done directly within a Python model but it is not convenient. This is why a new physical model has been developed in the interface, the interface calls the real underlying model which is developed in Python. The user can simply configure their model using selection buttons in order to activate or deactivate, and choose the wanted evaluation parameters. Besides, it inherits of all current Persalys' functionalities.
